Retreat Day with Marjo Oosterhoff
Marjó Oosterhoff will guide a day of meditation on COMPASSION, for ourselves and for others, including
some mindful movement practices. Compassion [Karuna] is the second of the four so-called Brahmaviharas: four sublime or divine qualities of heart and mind. Metta [loving kindness], Mudita [joy] and Upekkha [equanimity] are the other three qualities.
Marjó will guide these practices of connecting, with ourselves and with others, in such a way that they can be included in our everyday lives. These are stand-alone practices; no need to have come to other retreats. This day is suitable for beginners and non-beginners.
A silent day of meditation will encourage us to listen to the inner life, cultivating non-judgment and kindness as we do so, in the safe, sacred space that is the Anam Ashram.
This day is offered on a DONATION basis. Booking is essential. Contact Jane on 086-3043453.
We will be strictly adhering to COVID19 restrictions in order to keep everyone safe. For this reason places on this retreat are extremely limited.
