DESCRIPTION:“A voice cries out: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord” (Is 40:3)\nJoin us on Thursday December 5th at 7.30pm to experience a gentle restorative yoga class which integrates the themes of Advent with quiet reflection and prayer. Restorative Yoga is a very gentle style of yoga where participants hold postures for longer and each pose is extremely supportive for the body through the use of props. It is a deeply nourishing and healing practice. Each posture will be an opportunity to cultivate the advent themes of peace, hope, joy and love, allowing us to deepen our mind-body-spirit connection. No previous experience is necessary, everyone is welcome, come as you are. Booking is essential as places are limited: contact mellettj@gmail.com\nFacilitator: Jane Mellett lives at Anam Ashram and is a 500 HR qualified yoga and meditation teacher, retreat facilitator and spiritual director. Jane has a special interest in the integration of Eastern spiritual practices within Christianity, sharing these practices with others as well as embracing the lifelong challenge of integrating these practices within one’s daily life. Jane will be joined by members of the Anam Ashram community in delivering this day. \n
